36 Week Update: Sweet Cheeks
Two weeks ago I approached the 34 week mark. The morning prior to 34 weeks I woke up with some contractions. I contracted all day. I was feeling pretty worn out and I didn’t want to time my contractions in fear that I might really be in labor. Eventually I started timing my contractions and they were coming as close at two minutes apart but averaging more at four minutes … [Read more...]
Pregnancy Update: We have reached a benchmark!!
Today marks a benchmark in my pregnancy. I am 33 weeks 4 days. My last pregnancy three years ago, my water broke prematurely at 33 weeks and 3 days. They “held” me on bed rest in the hospital until I reached 34 weeks and then induced labor and my son “Bean” was born, six weeks early. Statistically speaking babies born at 34+ weeks tend to go on and grow to be … [Read more...]
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…..

24 Weeks, Contractions and Reflections….
Last weekend we took a quick trip to Rexburg, Idaho and visited Yellowstone Bear World, a interactive park where you can drive through and visit the bears and wildlife. Busy Times on my Bum!
My best way of coping with pregnancy is to with-drawl from most activities. The kids and I spend a lot of down time at home. For me, lots of sitting on the couch in my daze of nausea, while the kids play with toys, watch movies or play in the front yard. Even though I feel extremely lazy while pregnant I try to get the kids to a park or some kind of outing at least once a … [Read more...]

96 and Counting
I called my grandma Friday night to see if the family and I could visit. I was amazed with the youthful voice that answered the phone. I thought her nurse aid might have answered. I asked, “Is this Grandma?” “Yes, this is Grandma. Who is this?” I hoped if I called right before I came over she might remember I was coming. I told her we would bring dinner. She seemed delighted that a visitor was … [Read more...]
Budgeting and Level Pay
The hubs and I are getting better at budgeting. It has been an adjustment taking two independent 30+ year olds with our own individual spending and saving habits (mostly spending) and meshing them together. We are approaching our third wedding anniversary next week and after three year of trying to get a budget down, I can now say we are getting there! When it comes to budgeting our regular … [Read more...]

Time flies! Lil’Bean turns five months old today! He has grown so much. He has tripled his birth weight and has become a round, healthy little guy.
