for a mini- family vacation. The hubs
did the driving on the way over and I took out my camera put on my
telephoto lens and snapped away. I
hardly ever use this lens in my everyday photography, but while I was
vacationing in Europe several years back it
made a great tourist spy lens! All of my
photos even got a freeby antique filtered look due to my dirty car windows!
away. Today it is feeling winter like,
so I needed a little color pick me up as the leaves are cascading off of our
elm tree in the front yard with the recent temperatures. I hope you can enjoy a part of our drive
through rural South Idaho.
For all of my fellow rural Idaho folk, I bet you can identify where a lot of these landmarks are! Put your guesses in the comment section!
(Hope it shows up okay, I have been having trouble formatting on blogger)
|Even though this is rural desert, I think this really is one of the most beautiful places and a pocket of paradise!|
|A bend in the snake river on this 300+ mile journey we crossed over the snake river 6 times.
There is a good reason it is called the snake!
|Corn fields ready for feed!|
|I saw a lot of wind farms, and a lot of bill boards opposing them.
I will have to look into that, I am not sure why they are so hated.

|Grain Mills. Who can name the location??|
|A little selfie in my mirror.|
|Saw lots of giant hay stacks.|
|And lots and lots of sugar beets!|

|A perfect fit for rural!|
|Who can name what and where this is?|
|One of my oldest, dearest friends will find this house familiar!
It is crazy how close my lens can get from the freeway!
|Saw this lady biking down the highway.|
|Turns out she was eating dinner at Subay too!|
|Found these strangers in Twin Falls who have traveled all the way from Detroit, Michigan
on their way home to Eagle, Idaho. We met up for a brief dinner and hugs.
We are so happy you are home Grandpa and Grandma C!!!
|A closer shot of some more wind mills.|
|Sugar beets a haulen!|
