So I have been refraining from sweets and goodies for the past week. The first couple of days I found myself chewing a lot of gum. When ever I had a craving I turned to gum. It helped a lot. The last five days haven’t been too bad in the craving department, which has been good.
I have been having trouble keeping my blood sugar level, which has been a pain. I have been having a lot of dizzy spells, I may have picked up the bug Lil’Miss has been sporting for the past week but I think it actually is from the change of diet. Has my body grown so used to eating sweet things that I feel dizzy with out them?? Probably just withdrawals!
I have resisted the brownie bites the hubster made on Sunday as well as the three quarts of ice cream he has been snacking on. He bought double fudge brownie thinking that might be easier for me to resist. Umm…. I don’t know where he has been since our baby has been born?? I have been loving chocolate since Lil’Bean arrived! But thankfully, I am not a huge ice cream fan. It appeals to me most when it is really hot out and the weather is anything but hot this week.
The hardest thing to resist has been fortune cookies. My in-laws brought over some take out that came with the little cookie joys. I almost automatically just cracked one open and ate it, with out thinking at all. But I did resist.
