I have had a difficult time getting back to blogging following my little gaunt to Arizona last week. I have been playing catch up at home trying to get our home back in order: cleaning and organizing, laundry and unpacking. I finally just got my pictures downloaded onto my computer.
Some of the highlights from Arizona:
We stayed the first part of the week at my sister’s house. My mom was also visiting for Spring Break and my Dad lives with my sisters family. Lil’Miss has a cousin that is three weeks older than her. They had a great time playing with each other following each other around. Her cousin is shorter and smaller than her, but is walking. Lil’Miss enjoyed playing on their stairs, swimming in the community pool and playing with Grandpa.
The later part of the week we met up with my Mother-in-law and my two sister-in-law’s and headed North to have a baby shower for my sister-in-law who is due in May. We gathered with all of my husbands extended family, I met a few relatives I had not previously met. Lil’Miss had a great time with her other cousins as well.
We visited Saguaro National Park outside of Tuscon. The terrain is such a different desert than where I live.
Lil’Miss was quite the trooper. She did well on both flights but was her normal wiggly self. She enjoyed watching all of the travelers. Our flight back to Boise was at 6am, which means we hopped on the airport shuttle at 3:40am. I hoped she would sleep, but amidst the bustle, she wanted to see what was going on so when we got home we both crashed later that afternoon.
