There is also a rebate out there to try out the new “Pieces” candy. If you send in a candy wrapper of one of the following: Special Dark, Almond Joy, York Peppermint Pattie or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. They will send you a couponto try out their new product. I want to try the York Pieces.

I didn’t want to tempt myself and eat the Reese’s that I purchased, so I added it to my oatmeal experiment. Instead, I decided to tempt myself with cookies. I was in a rush to make this recipe before my Visiting Teachers came over this morning so I could send them home with some. They came a little early so in my rush, I forgot the baking powder, they still tasted delicious. If you like a flatter oatmeal cookie, reduce the flour to 1 ½ cups.
